Our Pastor, Dr. Sam Robinson

Dr. Sam and Mrs. Wendy Robinson

​Dr. Sam Robinson was born on September 18, 1975, into a Christian and military family. His parents were saved as the result of a military ministry while his father served in the U.S. Navy.  Though raised in church and trained in Christian schools, he was not saved until his senior year of high school in 1993. He surrendered to the call to preach and enrolled at the Massillon Baptist College in Ohio in the fall of 1995. While in college, he met Wendy Post of Lansing, Michigan. They were married on June 21, 1997.  Bro. Sam graduated in 1998 and joined the staff of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Rock Island, Illinois. In March of 2000, he became the Senior Pastor of Lighthouse and served in that role until 2007 when he entered full-time evangelism.  After eight years on the revival road, God led Bro. Robinson back into the pastorate to serve as the pastor of the Arnold Baptist Tabernacle in Arnold, Missouri, from 2015 - 2018. In September of 2018, Bro. Robinson accepted the call to follow Bro. Barry Kirves as the next pastor of Landmark Baptist Church.  In 2014, Bro. Robinson was honored with a Doctorate of Theology by the Midwestern Baptist College in Pontiac, Michigan.
